Maren Morris has a brand new single called “I Can’t Love You Anymore” that she co-wrote with her husband Ryan Hurd, but another song on her new album, called “Hummingbird” is dedicated to their son Hayes.
Congratulations to Ashley McBryde! Garth Brooks surprised her during her appearance on CBS Mornings and asked if she wanted to become an Opry member! He almost cried, Ashley really cried. Congratulations to Ashley McBryde.
And a big congratulations to Scotty McCreery as well! This past weekend was Country Cares at St. Jude in Memphis, and Scotty won the Angels Among Us Award for his service and dedication to St. Jude. And I had the amazing privilege to be there.
Congratulations Scotty, thank you for everything you do for St. Jude, and St. Jude! Thank you so much for having me out this past weekend to tour the hospital and meet patients and doctors and scientists and see first hand the incredible work going on… It was an amazing experience I will always carry with me.
